three days of edc vegas and i have never walked so much in my life. 68,000 steps logged across the weekend — bring anti-chafe stick, you'll thank yourself later. no notes, just facts.

public service announcements from the chaos: my best friend's shirt broke mid-set and my pashmina became her makeshift top for the rest of the night, so keep a scarf on you, you never know. her phone also got stolen — if you're using a phone tether, make sure it's actually attached to the phone itself and not just the case, and keep the phone strapped to your body, not loose in a pocket. and if you're sitting on the ground to rest, beware: you can and will get thrown up on. speaking from experience.

day 1

1991, nico moreno, i hate models, levity, wooli at circuit grounds, then over to basspod for kai wachi (also the set where someone's vomit splashed back on me — see above), then back to circuit grounds for holy priest. favorites of the night: nico moreno and holy priest. we would've stayed for ray volpe and level up, but i'd worked that day and was already exhausted.

day 2

i didn't sleep enough and it showed. we did two rides — vertigo (you go up, swing out from the top, and spin — still not sure how tall it actually is) and crazy dumbos — before i had to take a break at downtown edc. pushed through to kinetic field for john summit and subtronics, took another break, caught josh baker b2b kettama b2b prospa at neon garden, then had to tap out completely — fell asleep by the glitched bus, then again at bamboo village.

day 3

was cold and windy enough that circuit grounds ended up getting shut down. we shopped for merch instead — i got the dabsmyla x insomniac house rascals edc 2026 lineup hoodie. psa if you're buying merch: bring a physical card. mobile tap to pay seems to get flagged as fraudulent by some banks for whatever reason. once the wind died down we posted up at cosmic meadow for william black (surprise illenium appearance), san holo, dabin (surprise slander appearance), alison wonderland, seven lions, restricted, and btsm, closing the whole weekend out with nico moreno b2b holy priest.

i drove all three days and parked in green and purple lots — arrived ~6pm day 1 (purple), ~8pm day 2 (green), and ~7pm day 3 (purple). purple lot wins over green, hands down, since green lot's trek is longer and rockier. already decided: edc 2027, we're doing premier parking.
